Wood Sculptures

Inspired by John's personal experiences with his wife and kids, above is a selection of John Proano's wooden sculptures. The first series depicts a moment of love, passion and the kiss. This sculpture captures the essence of the ultimate expression of love.

The second series was inspired by his daughter Isabella. He first conceived the idea while in his sleep. He quickly sketched the concept and colored it in for future reference. A few months after creating the concept, his wife was pregnant and their first baby was to be due exactly a year after the concept was conceived, was it coincidence or a touch of inspiration from up above...
